I had been struggling finding my true calling. I wanted to be doing something that was contributing to advancing Gods kingdom but wasn't sure what that consisted of. I have always enjoyed taking photos mainly of nature my whole life. I have always found that Gods creation is too beautiful not to capture. Recently I had been praying about having a job that contributed to Gods kingdom, provided income, and allowed me to work for myself so I can be available for my children.
I started to fast and pray asking God for a sign if I should pursue the photography business. I always listen to either worship music or a sermon on my drives into work and for months and months when I play my Christian playlist it only ever had Christian music on it, but this time was different. When I played my Christian playlist after a few songs this one random song came on by Justin Beiber and the lyrics went "picture perfect you don't need a filter", which was in my mind photography relation. I told my sister about this, and I was also telling her the name I was going to name my business and she didn't like it, so she suggested Living Waters, and that stuck with me. So, I was praying and asking God to confirm the name of the business. Later on, after praying I was listening to a worship instrumental playlist, and I was about to stop playing the music to do something else on my phone when I accidentally hit a different worship instrumental and this playlist was titled "Like many WATERS sound" which had the verse showing John 7:38- Whoever believes in me as the scriptures said out of his heart will flow rivers of living water". Confirmation complete.
I was on my way to church one day when I passed a church that had the words Living Water on their sign nothing else but those two words. God is amazing! One day I was at my sons school volunteering for field day and they had placed me at station number 7 which to me represented John 7 my theme verse for my business, number 7 station was a photobooth, and then right in front of my station was a firetruck that was pouring out so much water for the kids and after they turned off the water from each class changing stations it was like a river of water just flowing down the pavement and the sun glistened on it making it look so beautiful it was a peaceful moment to know this is for sure what God wants me to do.
My goal is to be an active and cheerful giver to churches, and organizations that bless others through the name of Jesus and who help advance the kingdom of God until the whole world hears. Glory to God forever and ever!
